Periodic Maintenance for your Acid Stained Concrete or Decorative Concrete
Just a little effort can keep that one of a kind decorative concrete looking great!
Re-applying your surface sealant is suggested every one or two years and can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Sunlight, snow, and rain can determine best when you should reseal your decorative concrete. K.L. Robinson Concrete Specialties can help recommend when this may be needed. Also, take a moment when it rains and view your concrete up close and see if the rain beads up...if it doesn't, it may need to be resealed.
Clean any spills that may occur on your concrete - remove with water...and if necessary use a bit of mild soap.
Keep debris from building up on your decorative concrete areas, just so you can keep tabs on its condition.
Make sure that your outdoor furniture has protective coverings on the bottom as not to damage the concrete. |
